Dear Clients,

The demand for slips was strong this past season with the marina selling many of its transient slips as seasonal summer slips. We have more live-a-boards in the harbour this winter but one less tour boat making 17 boats being stored in-water this winter.

Spring/Summer 2009

Please find enclosed our 2009 Summer Slip rental form. As you might notice we are keeping our prices lower than other city located marinas.

For returning customers last year's price of $44/ft. for the summer season will apply, although any new customers will be charged at the rate of $46 per ft. for the 2009 summer season. As you might know, Confederation Basin's 2009 price is over $50/ft. with Portsmouth Harbour over $49/ft.

If you are returning this summer please submit the form with payment in full by April 3rd, 2009 to confirm your slip. Any payment arrangement is subject to administration fees. Past year slips cannot be guaranteed after this date. If you know you are not returning this season please call, or leave a message to let us know, it would be appreciated.

We would like to offer our summer clients first- right-of-refusal for winter on-land storage for the 2009/2010 winter season. If you wish to be included please mention your request to the marina office by August 1, 2009. In an effort to assist both marina and clients, the marina will offer a free pump out to boaters who tell the marina they will be away over a weekend (Friday and Saturday nights) so the marina may use their slip.

We hope the weather will cooperate and give us an early start to the 2009 season. Payment for 2009 slips and any past due accounts will need to be settled before any boats will be launched. Payment can be made through cash, cheque, debit or credit card. Premiums will be paid on more than one payment.

PS Insurance policy photo copies or a policy number will need to accompany all applications before any slip will be assigned.
